Multipoint Design Optimization of a Radial-Outflow Turbine for Kalina Cycle System Considering Flexible Operating Conditions and Variable Ammonia-Water Mass Fraction

چکیده

The radial-outflow turbine has advantages due to its liquid-rich gas adaptability when applied in the Kalina ammonia-water cycle system. However, operational conditions of often deviate from design values changes heat source or cooling conditions, and such deviates may deteriorate flow behavior degrade performance. To enhance efficiency at complex for flexible running system, a multipoint optimization method is developed: operating been defined by three critical, dimensionless parameters, which cover wide range 3D space; representative off-design points are identified define objective function; adaptive methods integrated permit searching using limited CFD callings. developed adopted improve performance under conditions. obtained results demonstrate that application effectively eliminates separation various conditions; thus, comprehensively improved.
